The PH Mirage G4 brochure shows the same gear & final drive ratios for the manual sedan as the manual hatchback.

I would bet with it being a little heavier that they "gear" (program) the CVT a little lower to regain some pep.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

i think both engines code are 3A92 ?
only the japanese version can get mirage 1.0cc.
I checked European web-site (German) and our North American (US). And here is info of Mirage/Space Star for comparison:
Europe (German): Engine 1.2L (1193cc) - Compression ratio 11.0:1 - Fuel Super unleaded (RON 95 min) - Horsepower @6000 RPM (PS) 80
North America (US): Engine 1.2L (1193cc) - Compression ratio 10.5:1 - Regular unleaded, 87 octane min (however, the official web-site doesn't provide)- Horsepower @6000 RPM (BHP) 74.
German specifications
US specifications
1.0 Japanese PS = 0.98632 BHP

That's very interesting...
But I wonder if it's correct (we have seen errors on the Mitsu web sites before). The German 3A92 specification lists the same bore, stroke and displacement as the North American 3A92 engine. If that's the case, how could they have different compression ratios? One must be wrong, no?
EDIT: correction! My mistake... I confused cylinder volume with displacement. It's quite possible the German engine could have a different head or head gasket design that would give it higher compression for the same displacement.
Tim (daox) points out that the UK compression ratio for the 3A92 is also 11.0:1.
