Factoring in the price of a dollar, fuel prices are $0.13 a litre more here. Since I'm on the Mirage forum, I dont need to explain how little difference that makes (my 4x4 forum just doesnt get it bahaha). Plus I can't cross the border with my edibles and assorted pot stash.

It's only a few hours longer to stick to the Canadian side. Motels are way cheaper as well. It will cost more to go stateside, especially since fuel economy goes out the window doing 130km/h on an interstate.
That is true with the current exchange rate. I hadn't thought that through. And with your other "items" that you can't cross the border with I understand (living in a state where it's legal but one of our neighboring states isn't).
