Congrats on the second car!
My turn to ask questions!-What did you use to seal the hood gaps? I noticed on mine that if I look through the side of the hood gap, I can see straight out the other side as well as out the front. So I will definitely seal around the perimeter of hood.
I was thinking of using the sticky house door/window gap foam strip that comes in rolls.
Another question: Do you think there is enough airflow with just the lower slot open?
