These figures are for the UK spec cars:
Engine/Trans 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) Top speed 1.0L, 5MT manual (Mirage "1") 13.6 seconds 107 mph (172 km/h) 1.2L, 5MT manual (Mirage "2" and "3") 11.7 seconds 112 mph (180 km/h) 1.2L, CVT (Mirage "3") 12.8 seconds ?
Since the manual "3" has the larger, 15 inch wheels than the manual "2", I wonder just how accurate the 11.7 figure is.
After all, the manual "3" scores slightly lower fuel economy than the manual "2", a reflection partly of the added mass (rotational and static) between the 2 cars. I would have thought that difference would also show up in acceleration times, even if just by a few 10ths of a second.
On the topic of top speed,
