Everyone says the Tein springs are softer, but they still give you the lowered stance. Maybe thats a better option.

offset usually looks like +40 or +35 or +38.
Usually, a higher + number means the wheel and tire go inward/toward the car and a smaller or - number means it sticks out more.
Struts/shocks also help with bounciness. When I only changes struts on my 88 corolla, ride was a tad firmer.
